Noah Kahan at Durham Performing Arts Center
Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter from Strafford, Vermont, whose folk-pop and indie-folk songs pair candid storytelling with memorable melodies. His writing often explores mental health, identity, nostalgia, and the complicated pull of home. The breakthrough album Stick Season helped bring that distinctly New England perspective to a broad audience, with songs including “Stick Season,” “Northern Attitude,” “Dial Drunk,” and “Call Your Mom.”
Kahan's expanded release, Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever), further established his profile, earning strong critical recognition and deepening the connection fans describe with his vulnerable lyrics. His performances are known for heartfelt communal singalongs, with warm lighting and nature-inspired visuals complementing the songs' intimate themes.
The supplied event listing records Kahan with James Bay at Durham Performing Arts Center on March 5, 2019. This is the past venue date available in the provided event information; it does not establish a broader history of appearances there. The listing predates the later success of Stick Season, so it should not be presented as a show from the We'll All Be Here Forever Tour.
For readers browsing ticketsraleigh.org for Raleigh Concerts and Pop / rock, this Durham listing connects a North Carolina performing-arts venue with an artist whose songwriting has since reached a much wider audience.
Venue and Seating Information
Durham Performing Arts Center is the venue named in the event listing. The information provided does not include audience reviews, a seating map, or section-specific feedback, so particular views or “best” and “worst” sections cannot be reliably identified here. Review the venue's current seating plan when choosing tickets, and consider how close you want to be to the stage versus the overall perspective of the performance.
For a singer-songwriter show, sightlines and the ability to enjoy the room's sound are practical considerations. Seat preferences vary, and no section-level fan consensus has been supplied for this event.
